Birth and Early Life

Your esteemed name is Muhammad Shah Qureshi, and your father’s esteemed name is Hazrat Kalim Ullah Shah Qureshi. You were born on Wednesday, the 4th of January, 1961, at the time of Zuhr prayers in Miskeen Pur Sharif, District Muzaffargarh, Punjab, Pakistan. When you were born, your esteemed father wrote a letter to his spiritual guide, Sheikh al-Arab wa’l-Ajam Hazrat Maulana Pir Syed Abdul Ghafoor al-Abbasi al-Madani  Rahmatullahi Alaih, stating that Allah had blessed him with a son after four daughters. Hazrat Madani Rahmatullahi Alaih said, “Alhamdulillah, today the heir of Khanqah Miskeen Pur Sharif and the noble chain of Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Fazli has been born.” Hazrat Madani Rahmatullahi Alaih also had two goats sacrificed on your behalf for Aqiqah.

Education and Spiritual Journey

You received your religious education in the esteemed institutions of Pakistan as well as at Jamia Islamia Madina Munawara. Your first allegiance (Bay’at) was with Sheikh al-Arab wa’l-Ajam Hazrat Maulana Abdul Ghafoor al-Abbasi al-Madani Rahmatullahi Alaih, and you received the chain of Naqshbandi from Sheikh al-Tafsir Hazrat Maulana Abdullah Mahlawi Rahmatullahi Alaih.

You were bestowed with Khilafat (spiritual authority) in the four major Sufi chains: Naqshbandi, Qadiri, Chishti, and Suhrawardi. You received spiritual training from your esteemed father, Hazrat Syed Kalim Ullah Shah Qureshi Rahmatullahi Alaih, and were awarded Khilafat in the Naqshbandi chain. Additional Khilafat in other chains was conferred upon you by other renowned Sheikhs, including Hazrat Sheikh Saaduddin Murad al-Shadhili Rahmatullahi Alaih of Aleppo, Syria, and Hazrat Sheikh Abbas al-Fadl al-Hassani of Samarra, Iraq.

Leadership of the Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Fazli Order

In 1983, under the supervision of your esteemed father, you began your work in the noble Sufi order. After the passing of your father in 1988, during the annual gathering at Miskeen Pur Sharif, you were selected as the successor and leader of the Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Fazli Khanqah. For over 40 years, you have devoted yourself tirelessly to the propagation of the Naqshbandi order and the spiritual betterment of Muslims worldwide.

Global Impact

Your efforts have led to a silent spiritual revolution across the Islamic world. Millions of Muslims have repented, adorned themselves with the Sunnah, and embraced Islamic teachings. Your speeches inspire love for the Prophet (peace be upon him), and your influence brings tears of spiritual joy to countless listeners.
Your disciples and Khulafa are spread across Pakistan and internationally, in countries such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Turkey, South Africa, the United States, the UK, Canada, and many more. Nearly 150 of your Khulafa, including esteemed scholars, actively serve under your guidance. Numerous mosques, madrasas, and dawah centers worldwide operate under your patronage.

Annual Spiritual Gatherings

Every first Friday of the month, a spiritual gathering is held at the Khanqah in Miskeen Pur Sharif, attended by hundreds of seekers. Additionally, a grand three-day annual gathering in March attracts thousands of participants, including scholars, Sufis, and devotees from various sects and countries.

Recognition and Achievements

As recognition of your immense contributions, you have been awarded honorary PhD degrees by the governments of Turkey and Morocco. Spiritual organizations in multiple countries have elected you as an honorary member, acknowledging your exceptional services to the Islamic world.
